The Radisson Blu Hotel & Convention Centre, Kigali has partnered with Rwanda Development Board in“KwitaIzina” 2016 as part of its Responsible Business Program.
Kwita Izina is a Kinyarwanda word translated as “Baby Naming Ceremony”, which has been part of the Rwanda culture and tradition for centuries. In a drive to actively protect the Mountain Gorillas and their habitat – The Government of Rwanda has modelled the old naming century’s tradition on these species to get the national brand known as Kwita Izina.
